Self-Payment of Treatment Costs

Privacy 100% guaranteed if you pay treatment costs yourself

Some clients opt to pay the cost of their treatment themselves, directly to the therapist. There are several reasons for this. Some clients do not want their DSM-V (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition [DSM-5]) diagnosis to be made known to the health insurance company and/or general practitioner, or they do not want their data to be registered in their electronic patient dossier. This client group often chooses to pay for the treatment themselves in the interests of ultimate privacy.

If you pay for treatment at P&M yourself, the costs are:

  • EUR 125 per 60 minutes
  • EUR 100 per 45 minutes

These costs are often deductible.

Costs for clients up to 18 years of age

All treatments costs for clients under the age of 18 are reimbursed by the health insurance company; these clients do not pay any own risk or own contribution.

Basic insurance cover reimburses the treatment costs in full.

However, if you do not show for your appointment, or if you do not cancel your appointment in time, we will be obliged to charge you a fee of EUR 75.

P&M invoices your healthcare insurer directly for the treatment costs. We do this after your treatment is complete or after it has been extended.

Self-paying clients for couple and family therapy

Unfortunately, your health insurance company will not reimburse costs for couple and family therapy. Clients who wish to attend Psychotherapy & Movement with a partner for couple or family therapy will be charged at an hourly rate of EUR 120. Couple and family therapy is provided by two experienced family therapists.
